After considering possible options for the past few weeks, I've decided that we will be launching a little further into the future to leave behind some of the dullness that we've experienced amongst the fun.

What's a Timeskip?
A timeskip is an event wherein the world is transitioned a few years into the future, alongside all of its inhabitants. Loads of things can happen within a period of two years to both the world and your character, so take this time to reflect on your actions, motivations and plans!

Give me the details, Bishop.

We are TIMESKIPPING for a period of two years. Each faction will have their own Timeskip event hosted by yours truly, to help you transition into the Timeskip.

One of the goals is to bring in new players, and as such, the following incentive applies to all new players and existing players below 60RPP.

(If you're an existing player below 65RPP by more than 10 points, you will be boosted up to 65. If you're less than 10 points below this, I'll sort you out personally.)

So what are the Incentives?

Incentive:
  • 65 RPP start
  • 105 statpoints
  • A free T1 (tier 1) Perk
  • A crafting material starter pack
  • A ship if you have 3 or more friends to join you!

On top of this, Marines will receive even more incentives - we're opening applications for new players to join our Cipher Pol-like division for Marines.

That means they'll be able to learn Skill Tome abilities that nobody else will be able to, and gain a 5RPP and 10SP boost on TOP of the new player incentive.

...But it gets better. I'm offering referral bonuses for inviting more friends. For each person you invite who plays for a month, both YOU and your friend will receive 1 RPP.

If you invite more people, you'll get more (as this stacks). Invitees can also invite to gain from this too!

TS Updates:

- New perks added

- New areas added

- New bosses added

- Injury system: People can now be injured by others. To do this, right click and select 'inflict injury'. Injuries don't heal over time, so you will need a doctor to help you out!

- Medicines now have more uses: Medicines (specifically potions) can heal injuries to varying degrees.

- Replaced the entire HUD. Now it's more beginner friendly and has loads of options to help you find what you need, when you need it.

- Frogs are no longer Tier 3 fish. They are now Tier 2 (higher probability of catching them). FYI, Frogs can be used to make Kero-ro's with a transponder, AKA, a phone.

- Fixed time in the statpanel.

- Added Trait Perks for CQC and Swordsmen. Expand your character's personality and power further with a trait perk, but be prepared to stick to it (you can only have 1!).

- Increased drop rate for both Smog Nuts and Flamenuts from their respective mobs by 15 and 30%.

--------- (PVE) AI COMBAT CHANGES ----------

- You can now heal yourself or others in AI Combat using syringes. The amount of healing is decided by the Injury Reduction stat of the fluid in the syringe, and this is visible in the Doctor window. In AI battles, the Injury Reduction stat for the fluid is doubled.

- You can now DODGE in AI Combat. If you're faster than the incoming attack, you'll have a base of 50% probability to dodge the attack. You then get an extra percentage added on for the difference between your speed and the incoming attacks speed.

Example: If the incoming attack is 20 speed and you have 30 speed, there's a base 50% chance of you dodging it. Then, you get an extra 10% chance due to having 10 speed above the incoming attack's! (so 60% total).

--------- NAVIGATOR CHANGES ----------

- Navigators are no longer useless. Compasses now WORK when steering ships. Make sure you steer the ship FIRST and THEN right click the Compass > 'Use'. Alternatively you can use the compass before controlling the ship and press 'Reorientate' on the Compass.

- New Body Index HUD - See all the damage you've taken due to injuries, through a beautiful display (made by Kongâ„¢)

- New System: Quests - Take quests to explore the hidden lore in the game, as well as stories with other NPCs which you can use to influence your IC. These are essentially better events, but instead pre-programmed!

- Players can now move over each other when using Battle Movement. Be aware that doing so is still IC!

- Sea Currents now CHANGE direction every 15 minutes. Prepare for a more immersive (and troublesome!) way of sailing across the ocean.

- Haleine can now stack Moonlight Madness abilities with Duality.

- Moonlight Madness! dramatically buffed - Haleine now drain 25% instead of 50% of their maximum vitality.

- Maturity! now provides the boosts mentioned. GM Help if you have purchased it and need it fixed before this update.

---------- MUSCIAN CHANGES ---------

- Base Musician skills have been buffed (drain has been reduced from 25 to 15).

- Musician now have new skills for T2.

- Musician now has different skill trees.

- Musician skill trees now have two opening skills. More will be added soon.

- More weapons added and different types of weapons have been added.

- Muay Thai skills added

- Glasses added for both genders in the clothing shop, new jacket added for males. Earrings also added for both sexes.

- Beautified perk database a little bit by changing the font for the perks' descriptions.

- Added name for perks in the perk database.

- Changed effect colours in the perk database. Green is beautiful and yet ugly sometimes. Blue > all colors.

- The Glutton perk is now a thing: Glutton increases the boosts gained from eating food by 1.5x while making abilities cost 1.5x more to use. Everything is pre-calculated, so no need for any math! (Give me feedback on this if it doesn't work properly; I haven't tested it thoroughly)

- Perks for the new weapons have been added. Presently only blunt instrument weapons i.e. warhammers, need a separate perk.

- Instruments have been added. They increase intelligence for musicians!

- Celestial Ruler for Haleine buffed. (Drain reduction from Moonlight Madness 10 -> 25)

- Fishmen have a new perk and skills.

- Added weapons vendor in Timeskip area with new weapons for literally all combat classes.

- New starting area for all new players.
