Mouse hits are now able to handle the alpha mask filter, and also regular blends done via BLEND_MULTIPLY or BLEND_INSET_OVERLAY. (The layering filter is still mouse-indifferent.)

It'd be really nice if we could mask off parts of atoms and not have the mouse able to interact with them depending on mouse_opacity rules. 0.5 alpha or less in the final composite should be considered invisible to the mouse.

is this supposed to be compatible with vis_contents? if not is it feasible to support it?
My tests show that this works with vis_contents. You might have found one of the cases where it's still bugged. 1511 has an upcoming logic fix to this that will improve its handling.
