Stopping animations didn't work correctly, and certain parallel animations such as mixing transforms and pixels caused weird results.

This issue has been resolved.
Descriptive Problem Summary:

The changes to animate() caused some other interactions to break, namely changing transform and client.pixel_x and pixel_y. Sometimes the animation will fail to end entirely.
