Healthbar

Just a random health bar I made last night....tell me what you guys think of it and how it could be improved.

I'm no pixel artist, but that looks nice...much better than my hud. keep up the good work.

It looks nice. I like the dark feeling to it. Cleaning up those lines would help.

I think it's pretty neat. Good to see a creative health bar and not just some plain colors whipped up in 2 seconds on paint.I like the design on the top, but I feel the black lines surrounding the bars themselves are kind of random. Then again, it could be part of your design; I'm personally just the kind of person that likes more repetitive patterns on artwork. If anything, I'd say to just make the black lines surrounding the bars maybe a pixel or so thinker, and make the left side completely straight. The roughness halfway down kind of bugs me.
