The harsh lines were needed, I didn't like the "anti-aliased look" for movement on tiles :P

Why is his head down and why is he hunching over? Also, looks more like he's posing arm/leg-wise,

Drop the black outline on his chin, that should be the same outline we're using for the rest of the body. It makes his chin either look really far down, or that his neck is so high we're seeing a huge shadow.
But yes, he does look quite a bit better, as he looks like he's standing more naturally. | |
