There should be a top online games witch would be a combo of online games and top games. Im tired of looking though the top games and seeing most of them always offline. Where Top Online games would show all online games in order of rank.

The ranking system isn't that good currently anyway, but that IS a nifty idea. :)

From the Games page you can click on the red text showing the live games for a guild, and see the games list with the live games at the top, and the first non-live games showing will be the top ones. This goes some way towards what you are requesting. Also, we're making it so it's more common for the list to default to the live setting. Don't forget about the popup up top that lets you change how the games are sorted. | |
The top ranked games have been moving toward this trend anyway. The top rankings used to contain many old, but good games. Now it seems to be migrating towards fan games that I like to call "member traps," ones that specifically give benefits to BYOND members that rank their game.
However, lots of games are hosted 24/7, but no one joins them, so these types of games wouldn't be set aside in this kind of ranking. 24/7 hosting offers convenience in certain types of games for anyone to join at any time, but its usually hard to get people to be there at the same time. Other games hosted by people simply can't be up all the time if they need to be watched over. | |
