I have also reinstalled BYOND & cleared my CHACHE in an attempt to fix this issue but this did not work
Moved to BYOND Help, because 1) this is not a BYOND bug, and 2) you didn't provide enough information to investigate it if it had been.

This is a problem with your system's audio. A driver, or one of your audio settings like one of the obscure volume options in the advanced settings, has been changed. That's where you need to look.
hey if anyone else has this issue, these are the steps to fix it:
search for sound mixer settings (thru the windows search bar, or maybe in the settings home). scroll to the bottom, and click reset to microsoft recommended defaults. should fix it!
