If everybody's objects are saved then deleting the objects after the person has logged out is futile because they can log back in and they're back. If they're never saved at all (or there's just one global savefile) then there is no such problem.

Of course, this also means that once somebody logs out, your list system becomes useless for locating the object, unless if you never delete mobs (which would work, I suppose).

I was thinking more along the lines of storing a reference to the lists for x amount of time (presumably on client.Del()) and then deleting the lists.

And on second thought, a better thing to do would be to store the tag of the object.
