Anyway besides making a verb and calling it?
Deadron did a demo on this i believe. Just search for macros in the demo section.

What no it doesn't.

You hit the key A and it calls a proc.

But yes it does use hidden verbs i think.

just do the whole macro thing and

set category = null

or however that works... the player doesnt see it in his tab, but the macro should do what it do...

If you have a verb macroed in your game, the player can easily find out the name of the verb. Just right-click on the button that says ALT. :)

You could encrypt the name, or atleast i think.

Why doe it matter if they know the verb name? All that means is that they could macro it to a different button if they wish.
