How to fix multiple areas?

I didnt want to put this in the code problems section because it isnt actually with the code, but i get this error when i compile: Maps\19 Below Deck.dmm:3:error: multiple areas
how can i fix it if it wont let me open the map editor?

Open the map in a text editor, you have probably got 2 areas in one place and areas are not allowed to overlap.

Thanks, i found the problem. not sure how it managed to happen though it should have overlapped the other area.
