Telepathy?

Um, sort of.
But it's sharing dreams.
I'm sure there's a proper word for that- not telepathy, but similar.

Yeah, it was in Charmed before, I kknnooww it.
If you watched Charmed, it's the episode with the Sucubas (sp).
In response to Hell Ramen
Actually, that's the prime reason I began learning DM- because the sharing dreams thing wasn't actually possible (or at least, the right USB ports are hard to come by).

It, in my opinion, was the worse FF.

O.o actually I know alot of FF people and alot of them agree with you.

FF1 ALL THE WAY!

That was so fun, I played it for a whole 10 minutes on my emulator before switching it off.

If it was like 8-bit Theatre, I would've played it hours straight :o
I cried when Aeris died. I also cried when Tidus went away.

Do those count?

I didn't cry at either, because someone ruined it for me by telling me that it happened.

Friends suck. :/

FFVII sucked on so many levels.

Not a great story...

Not the best systems.

So many people just like this game more because it was really the first 3D Final Fantasy. I think it wasn't that great.

I think Zeldas probably have the best gameplay out of everything, but man, Nintendo is THE #1 WORST maker of stories. They make a story, and friggen go on the same damn story in all of their games for 10 years! Give it a break!

Nintento = Good functionality, nice gameplay, crappy design, crappy systems, crappy games, crappy people. :P

I agree. I think Blizzard by far is the best story-writers of all. probably why they are my favorite company. Although their gameplay is great, I've had better gameplay in a lot of games, but Blizzard games hold me until I win them, and get me to read the full stories in the instruction manuals, and buy books for it, because their stories are so amazing.

Sadly, though, as far as I know, the books are made from different authors (Possibly fan fiction?) so they aren't as good as the actual game stories.

Super Smash brothers was a good idea, poorly executed. Zelda had great systems in it, but a poor story. Super Mario 64 had probably the best adventure up to this date.

The only games on the system, and they were ruined with other areas of the game being so crappy.
In response to Kunark
I'm talking about the hardware they choose. All they want to do is be different, rather then offering more then the other companies they offer less.

Stupid marketing reps.

Crappy design? Never have I had such respect for a purple box...

Crappy systems? The Gamecube (let's just talk about the latest stuff right now, no need to linger) has 0 loading times, due to special disks, and the way they are accessed.
Companies can put more money into their games with confidence that they won't be pirated too (GC disks are impossible to pirate- well, ish. If you tried to pirate them, you'd end up spending much more than you'd get from the disks, due to their small type and specialist manufacturing methods).
I notice when playing the exact same games (eg. TS2, Burnout 2, etc.) on GC, then XBOX/PS2.

The loadtimes are non existent for GC, with some for XBOX then LOTS of PS2.

Crappy games?

*cough*

Crappy people?

I want Shigeru Miamoto's babies.

Poorly executed?
Without wanting to sound accusative/argumentative, how is poorly executed?

Adventure? In what way do you define "adventure", as such?
I'd think Ocarina of Time should deserve a mention if we're talking about Adventures.

The only games on the system, and they were ruined with other areas of the game being so crappy.

If you're talking about the N64, then I hope you haven't forgotton GOLDENEYE, y'know, the game possibly more influential and revolutionary than Mario 64...

Did you know that before 1997, "Stealth" in games wasn't actually a concept?
(unless you count stealth meaning "evasion of enemies", then you have Pacman)
It's also the finest shooter than was ever made (true, you could argue there's better now, but it held out for about 3-4 years).
It has THE best Multiplayer of all time.

Screw online play- 4 player Bunker IS WHERE IT'S AT.
AND DON'T YOU DENY IT.

Not different.
Innovative.

The DS isn't just for novelty:
Moving a stick and pressing buttons isn't intuitive, isn't "real" human nature.
By using the touchscreen, it is far more instinctive, natural.
Gameplay can be much faster, fluent, dynamic.

Although yeah, Nintendo should fire all it's Marketing reps- they can't advertise at all- and when they do, it's usually a sexist advert, discriminatory against females, or telling you to "wait."

Actually, adverts are picking up, like the DS ad - showing a half naked woman in her underwear, clutching a DS.
The text reads "Touching is good."

:)

Anyway, Nintendo have forgotten about the place called Europe.
That's my only gripe with my beloved Ninty- we get our games 1-3 months later than you Americans and Japanese do.
In one case (Animal Crossing, pure innovation and GENIUS), we got it a YEAR later. :(

I may be biased against the other consoles, of course:
But it's the best bias there is.

Don't you just love it when people completely disregard everyone else's opinions on something?

"I love that game..."
"Pfft, that game sucks!"

Remind me never to post my opinion around here.

You forget the original Metal Gear, which was on the NES in 1987, 10 years before Goldeneye. But Goldeneye is a truly great game.

That's true.

Hm, I found it a bit clunky though. (being a young'un, I got it on emulator)

"I FEEL ASLEEP"

Stupid guards :)

Goldeneye WAS a great game, 'twasn't it?
Bunker 1- open the door in front of you, hold R, and calmly shoot both guards in the genetalia. :P
