I wanted to get rid of the crap BIOS that came with my computer so I could get down to overclocking my CPU, a horridly outdated Pentium 4 Northwood 2.53 GHz. I went over to my motherboard's manufacturer's website (My motherboard is also outdated. a FIC VG31) and downloaded the BIOS Upgrade (Increased CPU compatibility!).

Problem is, I can't create a bootable floppy since my floppy drive is bust. Everytime I try to use it in Windows XP, explorer freezes for about 2 to 3 minutes and it complains that the floppy didn't have a ID address mark.

Any ideas on how else I could upgrade my BIOS?
You could TRY booting off of a USB drive or CD-ROM, but I doubt that will work for your purposes. You may have to get a new floppy drive. It's worth checking whether your motherboard or your drive itself is causing the problems.
