I recently got back into Warcraft III and would like to be able to host custom games for others to connect to. However, portforward.com is telling me to set the "To IP Address" on my Linksys E3000 router to 192.168.1.1. However, when I punch in that last 1, I get an alert message saying "You can't use the router's IP, network, or broadcast address." Why?
Don't use the router's address - use the computer's address.
Start > Run > cmd > ipconfig, then use the value for IPv4 Address.
