New user here, I'm having trouble installing BYOND. I downloaded the Windows zip, but whenever I launch the installer exe, I get the error message: "Error: BYOND is currently running. Please close BYOND and then click retry."

What hasn't worked:
-Clicking retry (Gives me the same message, until recommending I kill the program, setting me back at square one)
-Using task manager (The only BYOND service running is the installer itself, no dream processes are running either)
-Rebooting (I am given the same error message when I try again)
-Running the installer in Admin mode (nor has running it regularly, for that matter)

Additional Info: Using Windows 10, first time ever trying to install.

It may be an issue with my firewall, but if it is I'm not sure how to fix it. Any and all help is very appreciated.
Try disabling any firewall/anti-virus. Might be worth deleting that .exe and downloading a fresh one? Also you could try restarting your PC too.

Wouldn't you know it, just deleting and downloading it again worked! Somehow. Thanks for the suggestion, lol.
No problem, was possibly a corrupt file.
