I made them like a year ago now rofl but they're still alright
there's a glitch in the 'custom map' verb though, sometimes it kills you instantly sometimes it doesn't. just keep trying

If you're not sure what to try first: Castle 4 and Fort 1 are easy maps. Pentaglyph is the coolest map by far. The Grid Pattern maps are extremely hard but possible; if you can handle Desert, try them, and don't forget that clerics can't heal through water. X 1, X 2 and Hourglass are all based around a simplistic concept, and Forests 1-3, Maze and Orbital are more or less arbitrarily splatters of stuff and not particularly well balanced (easy to be cheap and kill everything from behind a wall).

You can make maps too! Just download http://www.byond.com/games/Falacy/GGMapBuilder
Tips:
-You need a subscription to Falacy's games to save maps, but you don't need one to edit. That means you can have a subscriber come by when you're done, save it and send it to you.
-When the map is saved, it doesn't save the order in which turfs were placed, which means if you placed a wall over a dirt it might have the dirt over the wall when you play it. To be save, make sure every tile has exactly one turf on it besides grass.
-Start by filling the map with dirt or floor. You can't build on grass directly for some strange reason, so if you need grass just delete or delete fill the dirt/floor tile when you're done.
-When the game checks who has subscriptions, it uses the system clock of the host to figure out whether they're valid or not - if you had a subscription in the past, this means you can set the clock back so you still have it according to the clock then get the game to validate you, and you'll be allowed to save.
-Keep in mind the way monsters flow; they tend to move on diagonals and tend to move right when flowing up/down, or move up when flowing left/right. Make sure that your map doesn't leave any monster spawns getting stuck behind walls or away from the corridors towards the gold for expansive periods of time, and also that it doesn't lead all the monsters to places behind thin walls or rivers where mages can splatter them without fear of counterattack. (It's okay if you can kill some of them like this, just not expansive amounts; keep natural barriers to about 4-5 tiles in width to be safe.)
