Operating System:Dell XP
Video/Graphics Card:Doesnt have to do with this
Game Hub/Link:Nothing has to do with it
Internet Connection Type:DSL
Firewalls/Routers:just a regular firewall, and mcafee
Problem Description:Whenever i open a byond file in the dream maker it says Unable to read Whatever.dmi, but when i open it in my games file its fine , or when i'm on a byond game that you can change your icon on, what i do is open it and its fine.

This Doesn't have to do with coding, just regular opening files in the dream maker, like there's three ways how to do it and one makes it unable to read, 1.open it in a Byond game,which is fine. 2.Open it by just regularly opening it in the dream maker ( which makes it bugged) 3.Open the file in your own Byond Envirenment,which is fine. What is the difference between "your own BYOND environment", "Dream Maker" and a "BYOND game"? Could you provide a detailed, specific step by step description? (Which program you're using/opening and where you click, or what you're typing) |
My guess would be that your code tries to include the file like this:
icon = "whatever.dmi"
Which would cause this kind of error.
