Today the government passed a bill for 24/7 drinking in pubs and clubs. I'd just like to comment on my severe distaste for such a disgusting thing- the TV show I was watching said they took out a survey, and 61% of people said they disapproved, with a little over 20% saying the approved.
It's disgradeful that the government would think us loutish enough that they could qwell any anti-government feelings with more alcohol. Any proper socialist government wouldn't have done it! :O

Thats not the idea of a government, especialy a democratic one. I dont know about your country, but in ours we have rights to see our local Members of Parliament, they have to see us if we request a meeting and they have to pay attention, else we'll vote someone else in the next by-election or piss them off and call one early. Thats the other nice thing about this country, we dont need to wait for the next general election to come round, we can actualy just demand a re-election and with enough people they cant do a thing about it. Politics isnt about leting some other guy do it and wait till they do what you want, you need to act yourself, get your opinion noticed and demand that somethings done. | |

Its very well complaining about government actions despite disapproval, but the only reason their getting away with it is cause nobodies doing anything about it.
