I can't find where it says how the popularity system of listed games works.
Can anyone please explain me exactly how it works?

Thanks in advance.
I believe popularity is based on how many fans the game has gotten in the last however many days.
I believe I also read somewhere that whether a game is listed on the BYOND Games default page and/or how high in that list it is listed is based off how many BYOND Members have fanned it. Not regular users, but rather members. I could be wrong, but I recall seeing something about that somewhere, and judging by the fan count of a few games that seems likely.

This, of course, only applies to original games that can't cause BYOND any problems. At least on the games page part. The search feature probably goes by the same fans system for whatever you've searched; even fan games and such. If not, similar.
I think it's a combination of a few different variables including fans, recent plays, etc.

No, because using that logic, Decadence would still be on the front page.
Yeah, thats true. But like I said, I didn't know if it still works that way.

I know, I didn't mean to come off as aggressive as that seemed. Lol.
