The ordeal with you people is that you're grounded IN the past, which is why I compared the past to the present, with you people, you make racism out to be a big deal, when it simply isn't. Other people have other things to do then get pissed over a damn word, you want me to stop comparing the past to the present? Then stop living in it, overlook racism and move on. Ever heard that actions speak louder then words? Now stop beating a dead horse already, this discussion has been debated, there's people who support racism, people who disapprove racism and people who don't give a rats ass.

That is true. This topic wasn't about "OMG Everyone say it's wrong". This is exactly what the title says. "Views on Racism". In my initial post, and posts after that, I've pointed out the same as you(not everythign). People need to stop living in the past. That includes words, and it included the "usual" negative feelings.

For you to say people aren't equal, then you are someone who is still stuck in the past. The past is what brought all of these thoughts and feelings, and the more people cling to the past(which is inevitable) the feelings and thoughts will stay.

I hit a guy for calling me a Nigger, I didn't win the fight that preceeded but...Yeah

I feel pretty strongly about racism, towards anybody, Black or otherwise.

To think that someone has the guts to dislike you for your skin color or race, it is stupid.

People like Rugg with their whole "You look like you're trying to act black" thing is ridiculous, I believe that kind of stereotype falls into the category of racism.

I've met plenty of racists in Atlanta.

Just because I don't see everyone as equal and understand that not everyone receives equal reward in life, doesn't mean that I'm stuck in the past.

I don't cling to the past, instead, I don't give a shit about it and move forward with my own life. I, myself don't see myself equal to everyone else either. Because no one is truly "equal" if there was a "God", "God" didn't make any one equal.

Are you ignorant or what? Racism is part of the human condition. It is part of the animal condition.

Have you ever seen chickens? If One is different then the other they continue to pick on it until it's dead or gone.

And while some people limit racialism to a breed of person, there is such things as religious racism. Muslims have been killing people for years over a religious disagreement.

I think for a country that has banned slavery, given women the right to vote and equal work opportunity, attempted to instill a religious tolerance and had a black man elected president of our country we are doing pretty damn well, even if a few individuals represent us poorly.

Blacks don't help their case either when you look at the average black person in our country. A majority of them only help their stereotype. Especially the ones that constantly use the word "Nigger" on a day to day basis. I don't care what color you are or what background your from, if a word is considered "bad" then you don't use it. There isn't a exception.

But then again, your talking to the guy that believe people have the right to hate whatever they want.

Idk if you know this, but we are suppose to be more intelligent than animals. Also, Religious racism isn't the correct word, it's Intolerance. You say Blacks don't help their case, but neither do white people, or mexicans or any other race. You're taking the stereotype society applied to them and claiming all blacks are a hindrance to their race. Nigger isn't a bad word, Black people use it for white guilt and White people are afraid of it because they have White guilt about what their ancestors did. The reason the young black kids say the word nigger is because they know they can get away with it. If a White person calls a Black person a Nigger, it's racism but if a Black person calls a White person a Cracker it's not racism? There's a double standard in society. The problem isn't racism it's stupidity.
You're right Karas, where all still one race, Humans.
