It was a fantastic trip, I must say. Making new friends, seeing old friends, sleeping in people's kitchens and having cats attack my belt (that's not a euphemism).

Went up to Geelong on Thursday. Nothing particularly interesting happened that day. Had tea, watched some of The Big Bang Theory. A show I've now become quite fond of.

Friday the action began, as it was the party night (friends 21st). We got all suited up (I was wearing a tie, very unlike me!) and hit the pubs. The first one she had reserved and a good 40 people had rocked up. As the night rolled on, the people disbursed as we pub crawled to different areas. At the end of the night (5:30am) it was just me, the birthday girl and her boyfriend. My best friend had already found his way off with a cute girl he met at a previous pub.

So we went back to her place (happens to be where my best friend lives), where a few others were crashing. By the time we got back, two were crashing in my friends room, one in the kitchen, one on the sofa in the lounge room and one on the mattress in the lounge room (which was supposed to me my bed).

Luckily, the other two hadn't finished drinking, so the guy on my bed decided he'd join them in Whiskey, then at about 7, they went off to a sailors pub. Unfortunately, not much sleep to be had as people kept coming and going from then until midday.

Saturday was mostly the recovery phase from the incredibly large night had previously. And without sleep, that wasn't a very easy thing to do. The entire day was spent watching the aforementioned The Big Bang Theory, smoking cigarettes and just generally talking.

Sunday we were still recovering. I had long since developed a cold by this time, and my throat was so sore that swallowing was causing physical pain. So eating, drinking, breathing... these would have all been things to avoid if I could. Again, just a recovery day. Sunday night, the girl I met last time I was there came over, along with another best friend of mine, who I hadn't seen in months. That was pretty cool, he drove me to a 24/7 Coles where I was able to purchase (with money I didn't have, mind you) the necessary pharmaceuticals to relieve my pain.

The night ended with just me and the girly watching episodes of Dragon Ball Z on YouTube and us retiring to my now reclaimed kitchen bed.

Monday, my two friends, the girly and I went out for lunch, then said girly and the friend I hadn't seen in months had to go their separate ways, so I went back to the flat with my best friend, met up with the other two (birthday girl and her boyfriend) to which we just watched movies (I fell asleep) until it was time for me to catch the train home.

I fell asleep on the train and woke up at my desired station. Caught the bus home, ate a decent meal of pasta, had a shower and went to bed. Woke up with a massive headache, slept in until 3pm, watched The Battle of Wolf 359, the first DVD of the second season of Gode Geass and the 17th DVD of Bleach.

I'm now back to being incredibly poor. Hurray perfect circles. That's my week in a nutshell, anything interesting happen in my absence? (As we all know BYOND just can't function without me. =D)
Hah, sounds like a memorable week!

Or is the bed larger than I think? :P
Yeah, while you were gone Tom decided to get rid of the front page and we tried it out and it was awesome so it's going into full effect tomorrow.

Most certainly. I've never partied for 10 solid hours before. And if there is a god, I'll never do it again. <.<

The "Kitchen Bed" is in itself, just a standard double bed mattress put on the floor of the kitchen. As the Kitchen is the only 'private' room left in the flat once the other two bedrooms have people in them, which, seeing as three people live there (two of which being a couple), they almost certainly always do.

You can try and turn this post into an argument on the benefits of removing the front page, or altering it in anyway that results in posts like this one being completely left out. But I'm not going to get into that with you, as personally, sticking my penis in a blender would probably yield to be a far more intense, interesting and result worthy exercise.

Incidentally, she likes DBZ now.

Hah. I guess the first couple of episodes are pretty good. I got tired of it around Buu. I enjoyed Dragon Ball a bit more.
My computer teacher said Dragon Ball Z has the Z in it, because it means Zero... Like the plotline it had after frieza.

We were watching episodes 214 - 217. Which was the Buu resurrection.

I enjoyed it up until the end of the Cell saga.

Yup. Should have ended right there.

Granted, there are a few enjoyable bits and pieces after that, but the true climax of the series was Goku going Super Saiyan to defeat Frieza.

A climax that was ruined by the final stage of the opening sequence, I might add. Although not explained by the opening sequence, the fact he glowed gold was questionable throughout the entire series up until that point as a "why doesn't he do that thing we saw on the opening?"

Perhaps in the latest American re-dub for the kiddos, or the later Japanese episodes when they changed the intro a bit during each saga.

Keep in mind that DBZ started back in 1989 in Japan. The original Japanese opening sequence is awesome. In fact, the best way to watch DBZ is to watch the original Japanese episodes - the acting, music etc. is all much better.

That might be so, but back in ~1997 when it first aired on children's Australian breakfast television (known as Cheese TV) and the now deceased Australian Toonami, the original Japanese releases were of about as much importance to me as doing anything other than swinging invisible swords at invisible ninjas or browsing the internet for porn when my parents weren't looking.
the first DVD of the second season of Gode Geass

I'm not familar with Gode Geass but Code Geass is one of my favorite anime's :)
It was a joke :|
Ugh. The Big Bang Theory annoys me to no end. Taking the standard sitcom trappings and adding in a dash of Hollywood nerd, plus some correct science, does NOT hide the standard Hollywood trappings and stereotypical Hollywood nerd. If you want some good sitcomics, I'd suggest It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia (strongly) and The Office (not as strongly), though the latter is sure to bring some OMG BRITSH VRSNS SO MUCH BATTAR NO N00B AMRKN IS LOLZORS bullshit.
I'll pass on those two. They didn't hook me.
DBZ Ftw.
