I no longer have a job, so I'm looking for a way to make a little cash on the side by doing pixel art. If anybody is interested, we can discuss what you need and come up with a payment plan that works for both of us. I have many screenshots of old artwork available for viewing, just sift through my old blog posts if you want to check them out. Best way to contact me is to page me or e-mail me at salejeffreys AT gmail DOT com.

Thanks in advance.

There was a whole discussion about this on Artemis; that's not the star of David.
ZXC, doing pixel art for side cash instead of an actual job isn't the way to go. Trust me. I have done some here and there and it doesn't pay the bills. You will find yourself needing stable income.

I also looked at your artwork. I don't mean to be rude, but your artwork is not at a professional level enough to attract attention to people who would pay for pixel art work. Though, that's just me skimming through your blog posts, I could be completely wrong how talented you are now.

If you are looking for a job in pixel art, and have some good stuff to show off, make a portfolio and post it on a sites like this (job sections):

I have posted my portfolios there and only received requests for "work for free" offers, and I consider my artwork at least intermediate and somewhat experienced. These are the only places I know of at this time, but as you can see, even it's hard for more experienced people to get paid freelancing. You just can't rely on it. If you make a remarkable discovery though, please be sure to contact me!

Oh and btw, you can try Byond, but it's not really that "ripe for the pickin'"

I realize all of what you've told me. Thats why I'm offering my services at a significantly lower rate than any professional artist would, to suit the pricing needs of the hobbyist programmers over the ones who actually want to break out or just don't care about the cost. I've lost my job almost four months ago, trust me, I'm looking for one still but I need something to keep me going.
Do you have any flat rates?

Not really, if you're interested in discussing the quality and quantity of work you're looking for I can give you an estimate.
Do you have any instant messengers that I can directly contact you?
