After I had to get off, I didn't see a save system anywhere, so I thought it was an automatic thing that saves your data when you close out.
After I came back on today, I pressed the 'load' button and it said I had no data.
So is there a way to save on this game?

Read the help files. If you do not complete the tutorial, the game will not be saved.
