I originally meant to post this a year ago, but never got around to it. So here it is, on the one-year anniversary (better late than never, eh?). Best concert I ever attended: Chickenfoot at The Roxy, a small club in Hollywood with capacity of just a few hundred people.
- Joe Satriani
- Sammy Hagar (Van Halen)
- Michael Anthony (Van Halen)
- Chad Smith (Red Hot Chili Peppers)
I got there early and got a spot at the front of the line. When they let us in, I headed straight for the left side of the stage, ending up standing literally about a foot or two from Joe Satriani all night. Amazing. I'll probably never again in my life have an opportunity to see a band of this caliber so close and personal.
Got video of most of the show, and a few pictures, too.
I can't say I disagree.
