I'm happy to see active players around. At least, a few as I began this game just shortly and I am quickly falling in love with it. So far I did notice that, however, while mages are pretty badass that as you go on, you take a shit ton of damage because at level 3(just saying) you only have 2 damage spells and even to rats it's only taking them down half health and they hit decently.

Its a mater of not having a ready source of food until after quest #2. A player can kill at least 1 crab without dying, but they have no food to regain health between fights. Quest #2 teaches players how to cook up crab meat so they can eat between battles. I'm looking into nerfing crab attack speed to solve both issues. Crab meat will then be easy to stock up on.

If you have brand new players dying in the first quest, you have a serious balance problem. I can get to about level 40 without dying in World of Warcraft.

I see, you can get through the quest but not without dying. I'll think of a way to fix that, maybe give some food to begin with to heal yourself.

I did that but always die around crab three or so with the sword equipped. Did i miss something at char creation maybe? Like stat assignment?
