Before you ask, kanji isn't based off of pronunciation. It is based off of meanings. So you'll learn some basic meanings of kanji. Pronunciation is done with kana.
Right now it has a simple interface and setup. It also only uses grade one kanji, which is 80 characters. Others will be added in time.
Just click the characters that you believe match the text. The correct one will show up in green, while incorrect ones will be red.
By no means is this all of the possible meanings for the kanji, just some typical meanings. Inflection, order, combination, ect. will change the meanings.
The game lets you know which words you have been getting right after you complete 50 words. You can use this to keep track of how well you are doing.
Simple explanation of counting:
With counting, you read the numbers in order. If you come across go(5) ju(10) san(3), that will be fifty three. roku(6) hyaku (100) roku(6) ju(10) roku(6) = 666.
