Dragon Warrior 1 & A Half is set in the time period between DW 1 & 2. The world includes Alefgard from DW1 instead of the shrunken Alefgard from DW2, the rest of the DW2 world still has the same general shape. The interface resembles DW3 instead of that of DW4 used in most other DW games found on BYOND. All the classes from DW3 as well as some others are available for players when they create their characters, players can chance their class to sage or some other classes later in the game. Each class has its own quest that must be completed in order for it to become available.
