HBCom's Host Server
For now, we will only support PayPal. This may or may not change in the future.
All prices/payments are on a monthly basis, and are in USD unless otherwise specified.
For now this is the current pricelist:
$1USD for an account (includes a single port), $0.50USD per port (BYOND game hosting)
This means that for $1USD you can get an account with one port for hosting your BYOND game. You may only host your BYOND game; no other services may be hosted without approval.
For $5USD you can get a ShoutCAST server with this. You can use this server to implement streaming music in your game(s) or just use it to play some music to others at times. (This $5USD includes the bandwidth being spent on the server (which is a lot, hence why we ask for so much) and includes setting up of the server as well as opening the port the server will be using. So if you shutdown your ShoutCAST server you may host a BYOND server on it if you want.) No hosting of ShoutCAST servers on non-ShoutCAST server-assigned ports. (Bandwidth issues.)
For the one-time price of $3USD, you will get webhosting (w/ DMCGI and PHP access) on your account. You may use this freely. This includes a single MySQL database which you may use. Additional databases cost $0.50USD.
To clarify on this, an average person will likely use a single port for BYOND hosting and will want to take advantage of having a DMCGI-enabled site. The total costs become $4USD for getting a single port and a website which you may freely use.
Keep in mind that a ToS is to follow shortly. This will mainly address heavy-resource games which bog down other games on this server.
