I have yet to figure this all the way out but for second place ranks you will gain an mod soul. Mod souls will allow you to boost your stats for a time.also the ability to go to the ranker room allowing you to buy items that you cannot get in the normal in game malls including armors made just for ranker's.

If this game is ranked number one you will gain the choice to auto get a vaizard of choice and a boost in either spiritual power,Defense and the ability to go to the ranker's room allowing you to buy items that you cannot get in the normal in game malls including armors made just for ranker's.
