Okay, so here is the deal... -rumages around some old files- I aparantly found my 1.49 stack files of DBGekisen, however... as I cannot remember the hub password or get a successful login into this hub it will be automatically forwarded to this hub... DBGekisen: Rebirth Of the Fallen the reason I am making an announcement if anyone catches it is not hosting the game itself, however I will be releasing host files and source code over a period of time located at disclosed location at another date when I have gotten the files together and sorted out appropriately... Onhtop of releasing the files I will making a few code edits here and there to include the release website from the in game content panel so stay tuned... also on that note the DBGekisen Forum I created a while back will be included in this escapade of code release for discussion and other flamboyant activities... and pull out your guns for this one... IT WILL BE UNMODERATED!!!! So don't expect a timely response from staff because as of on going this is indeed an inactive project but the code release and resource host file release will be of a nature of if someone wanted to develop the game in our stead they can as well as host their own game even using the provided hub information.

Okay so late reply but here is the low down on what has happened to the server thus far, I downgraded it to save expenses since there are not alot of players playing the game anymore. It is up and I will see about seeing if there is an option to do automatic restarts on the server itself, not the game itself. I for one am thinking if the playerbase on the actual server itself does not pick up the server will be terminated.

HOWEVER and that is a strong however, the game will continue being updated but there will be no server. Instead there will be files so people can host their own servers, and I'm trying to push for a finalized version before it comes down to it which is why there has been a hold on the updates because there is going to a big massive update done to it rather than a small one. :O :O :O Yes a massive update that will change how it will function, right now I am in the process of scrapping code, redoing the code in a cleaner format and that is what is taking so long along with my actual job. This will be posted on the actual gekisen hub as well, copy and pasted so people know the game itself is not dead. While we are making this push though we are making a push to make another video game as well, the set of books may not be known by many and I am not going to comment as to what it is but another video game is in the works that is NOT BYOND BASED. There may be a byond based version and a mobile phone version of the game too, the byond based one may be the exact same as the mobile phone one in a 2D form but released on the byond platform as well :$ I know it sound sketchy but thats the best I can come up with at the moment.

As for the player file distribution there will be multiple versions and they all will be different zip files in the actual website that is in works as well. No domain name is thrown up yet but it is being made as well. B-) As far as gekisen goes though, all the benifits from the donation money are being whiped out in the next coming update though.. and replaced with actual buildings and offices just to make the DBZ universe more expansive. There will be also a way to donate to help maintain the server cost and motivate development of any game, not game specific. There will not be any benifits to this whatsoever though. If you or anyone is interested in becoming a freelance developer to help us obtain our goals then feel free to stop on by and see what we are all about. However, due to abuse in the past... the DBGekisen staff will be limited to just me and those I do indeed trust. Main reason about this is the game is not created by me, its maintained by me, and there would be legal issues if the source got leaked and such or could be legal issues that I rather not deal with.
