Naruto: Life as a Shinobi Legend

Naruto: Life as a Shinobi Legend
Looking for iconer for new base, clothes, and jutsus..Tons of New stuff in this game......Brand New Game Play, Jutsu are used differently, new HUD and targeting system, New Map design, soon to be new Icons
First Off I do not own or claim to own any part of Naruto. This game is solely a fan made game for fun and no subscription is required to play.

Looking for a mapper to make a new map for the game, a big one that will include all the countries and side villages not just teh hidden villages

We could use a gfx artist to remake the base icons and most jutsus along with some buildings and misc. stuff. If you think you can help just page me on the pager or on the game.

First off I would like to say that "No you can't be GM or co-owner" and "No you cant have boost or stat change so don't ask"

Now, since that is out of the way to the fun stuff...

...This game is in beta testing right now. I have approx. half of it done and just need to do the upper level stuff. I am currently working on new map and jutsu icons and using ripped ones for the time being. Coding is all new and game play should be different than most Naruto games on Byond right now. The purpose of this game is to be more like the show and manga. Feel free to give any advice in game during this testing phase.

So this game goes away from the usual pick clan and log train. In this game your jutsu are based on your chakra types. And you are able to learn jutsus based on your level (which is increased by doing missions not log training). So the few bloodlines that are available may not be the best choice.

For a complete description of game there will be a guide added to the game but here is a description of what the game will be when it is done

~Leveling~ In this game leveling determines your strength and knowledge. So leveling is a key aspect of the game. As you level up you become qualified for more unique skills and activties and also are able to qualify for the next rank. There are several ways that you can level up in this game.
a.Sparring and Kiling will give you experience for every winning battle, but the experience is limited and takes more kills with every level. It’s a good way to level and add experience when you are close to the next level
b.The main way to level in this game is to perform missions. They increase your Exp the most and also give you money. Missions will be discussed in more detail in that section.
c.Finally Leveling in this game is your key to surviving and learning new things. As you progress and reach higher levels the amount of jutsus you will be able to learn will increase. The way jutsu learning works will be talked in more depth in that section

~Missions~ Missions are the basis of the game and are where a lot of the game play happens. Missions are divided into two groups and then 5 sub groups. They are your means to gain Exp and earn money to buy items and supplies.
a.The two groups that Missions are divided into are Team and Personal missions. So for those who want to be loners and train by themselves can choose to do single mission or you can form a team and complete missions as a team.
b.Next missions are divided into the 5 categories D,C,B,A,S and depending on your rank you are allowed to do different missions.
c.To complete missions talk to your village mission jounin (or org leader is missing) complete the mission and then talk to him again.
d.The missions in the game are constantly being added to and updated so you never know when you will get a new mission to compete and any ideas that you may have are appreciated.

~Ranks~ As you know ninjas are separated into rankings in the naruto world and that goes the same here
a.Genin- to reach genin, go to the academy and talk to Iruka he will tell you what you have to do.
b.Chunin- the chunin exam is automatic and is held every couple hours on the game. Right now it is all single base, but it might change in the future. In order to take the Chunin exam you must be at least lvl 20 and a genin.
c.Jounin- As of now there is only one way to beome Jounin and that is being appointed by your kage. In order to become a Jounin you must be lvl 50 and a chunin.
d.Anbu- Anbus are special Jounin and are appointed by either the Kage or the Anbu captain. You must be a jounin and lvl 75 to be a Anbu member
e.Kage- In order to be kage you must be lvl 100 and win a tournament set up by one of the owners. These will be held every so often at the discrimination of the owners. Don’t ask for one we will give one when we are up for it.
f.Other ranks such as Missing or Sanin can be achieved by doing certain things. Be careful if trying to get Missing once you are missing you can only learn jutsus from other missing NPCs

~Jutsu~
the jutsu system in this game is designed to allow customization of players and allow for everyone to be unique and individual. Because of this there are no clans in this game, only bloodlines, and anybody can learn almost all the jutsu if they meet the requirements. Jutsus are decided based on a few qualifications: Chakra type, Level and Bloodline.
a.When you start the game you get the 3 academy jutsus and then 1 lvl 1 jutsu of your choice. Talk to different NPCs to find our beginning jutsu. Most require you to be higher lvl
b.Once you reach a certain level you will receive a Jutsu point which will allow you to learn a new jutsu. However jutsus are categorized into levels and require a certain level to learn them. You can either use your jutsu then or wait until you are higher and build up on stronger jutsus the choice is yours. But if you wait your attack will be diminished.
c.You can only learn a jutsu if you have the required chakra type, level and bloodline if needed. However not all jutsus are element based and some are able to be learned no matter what your chakra type is.

~Items~
items can play either an important role to your strength or none at all. It all depends on how you want to play. There are several different types of items that you can have and they all have their benefit and drawbacks.
a.Swords- they give boost to your stats and allow greater range in your attacks
b.Consumptions-pills, ramen, sake etc. these increase your strength and attack power for a short amount of time, but this increase puts a strain on your body and when they wear off you could be in for some trouble.
c.Weapons- these are your basic and advance ninja weapons like kunai, shuriken, etc.. there are some unique ones that you can get that increase stats a little, but the main use of these are a way to cause damage.
d.Clothes- the clothes in this game are limited to rank clothes because you have to ability to use your own icons and make your character what you want. So in order to be compatible with your icons the clothes overlays were taken out mostly. This might change as more updates come out.

~Game Play~
The game play in this game is meant to be, for lack of better description, WoW meets naruto. It is meant to promote village unity and working with other players to complete missions. So things like killing people of the same village have negative effects. Teams can be formed to do missions. Raids on other village can be down. Organizations can be taken out and killed. As the game gets more popular and the amount of people increase the options of things to do will be unlimited. Or if teams and orgs isn’t your cup of tea you can go missing and decide your own faith whether it be senseless killing or mercenary for higher.

~Other~
there is a lot that needs to be done for this game and this is a guide for the semi finish product. During the beginning be patient with wipes and updates and just come to have some fun. Suggestions are always welcome and have fun.
