CBS buys CNET...
...and promises to no longer focus on technology reviews. You know, not focus on the whole reason people use CNET in the first place.
This is great news for our company and its employees, considering they were our biggest, most ruthless competitor until they were acquired. =)

Oh it was ABC? Haha, when I saw how dumb it was I automatically assumed CBS. But still....
We're most happy that now Metacritic will no longer have us under a microscope. Nobody's threatened my job more than metacritic (which is owned by CNET).

Still, dismantling CNET is good news. Maybe they'll get their claws off Gamespot so it can try to reclaim some journalistic integrity. Or, maybe CBS will pass on some of its own wisdom on journalistic integrity (snrk).
