Yea I would want the training something that is non repetitive. Repetitiveness is very tiresome and boring.

A coherent overall design that resembles an actual playable game rather than a "who can AFK train the longest" contest.
No requirement of extensive prior knowledge of the series in order to understand and enjoy the game.
