Generating terrain and/or art

If you love to fritter away time on the Internet -- and who doesn't -- may I suggest these two inspirational resources?

Well, I tend to think that just about anything is potentially useful for BYOND games, since 80% of the challenge of programming (for me, at least) is coming up with an interesting idea -- sometimes it's enough even to have a single "hook" that I can build a game around. And if inspiration doesn't strike immediately, looking at new and different things can still plant "seeds" that eventually sprout into ideas.

Here are a few neat links from those pages.

Height map generation has a few small uses on BYOND. Not particularly with the average game, though. It could probably be used with a side-scroller or a game that uses country maps (sort of like incursion).

It also looks like it has some city generators which could be implimented in complete 2D.
