Platform Game

Today I made basic engine for a platform game. I mixed gravity system with pixel movement and made it as fluent as I could. Test it out and comment what do you think about it.

i would also like to know HOW u did this. i hav a friend that is learning DM and he would love to b able to make a platform game using it. he really wanted to make a Mario game and neither him nor me kno how to do something like this. please help me? PLEASE???

and yes! Make a single player game! BYOND doesn't have enough of those.

Updated. Added icon_state changing when player moves horizontally. Also, I fixed jump a little and instead of lazy_eye I used something different for view changeing.

That's pretty neat. Next you should try and give the player momentum when moving horizontally and smooth out the jump's peak.

You get stuck for a while when you rapidly change direction from east to west and vice versa. I will try to fix that.

About the places where you can fall down and not come back, just relog :P

i actsually like that alot it reminds me of some game i used to play on miniclips and i do think you should make a single player game

i did see a few bugs though i did get stuck in some places and it was making me dizy so this may be a health issue or it's just me
