It's about time.

For the last few years, I've found myself wanting to drink more coffee than tea, the only problem with this was: I hated the taste of coffee.

Why would someone want to drink something he clearly hates the taste of, you ask? Simple: Efficiency. Coffee is a great source of caffeine, something I've been absorbing into my body, every day, for the past fifteen years. As up until recently, I've been drinking multiple cups of tea every day for the aforementioned fifteen years, averaging from anywhere between 3 to 12 a day (during the particularly bad days the last time I quit smoking, I was going on 20 or more). Aside from tea, I had a 600ml bottle of coke every day for the last three years of my school life.

(I like to think all the milk in the absurd amount of tea I drink is the reason I've never broken or so much as fractured a bone in my life. But I doubt it.)

And after much trials, it's finally happened. You see, the human body is an interesting thing, apparently, you only have to suffer the taste of something you hate so many times before you get used to it, and maybe even begin to enjoy it. Of course, coffee was a foul bitter taste and that couldn't be helped.

So over the past few months, I've been slowly subjecting myself to the taste of various available coffees in the house and just now, I found myself enjoying the taste of one. Hurrah. Many, many sleepless nights to come, working away in my dark corer on various projects.

We recently had a Cigar shop open up in my city. Until then, I was convinced the conventional brew was all I had available.

Fortunately, said shop also offers Cuban style coffee. It's MUCH more potent. I'd compare it to an espresso really. A little bit goes a very, very long way. I usually head over there for my lunch break and down a couple shots. if you ever get the chance to try some, I suggest you do.

They should be using the birth control, but I don't want any STDs either ;)

I enjoy peppermint tea.

It's a great when job hunting.

I think you misunderstood the point: I was referring to the point that everything fun is generally unhealthy.

And protection? Psh, we all know women are the ones who should be using protection. ;)

I disagree on premarital sex being bad for you. It boosts your mood, confidence, etc., and makes for a decent workout. Use protection.

Neither is smoking, drinking and if you want to get rid of everything else fun, premarital sex.

Never stopped me though. ;)

It's really not good to get really dependent on caffeine, though.

Rarely do people drink coffee black. I add the powder nondairy creamer to mine (about 3 teaspoons per cup) and that takes the bite off of it. I'm not one for sugar, though -- I might add a teaspoon per cup but I frequently just leave it at the creamer.

Personally, I can't stand the taste of tea. I've tried several different types, and I just can't bare it.

On the other hand, I do like coffee.

I never liked coffee too much until I tried those bottled frappuccinos. I never drink warm coffee anymore. On the flip side I don't like cold tea too much. I like my tea warm.

I've had a drink from Starbucks once, it was a hot chocolate... Never again. I'm fairly sure they mix poison into their drinks to make sure public toilet cleaners are making damn sure they're working for every dollar.

Very unpleasant.

That's okay. While the drink wasn't bad, I'm still not big on coffee. I do like tea, but don't drink that much either (if I go out to eat, sure).

This one girl I went on a date with to Starbucks (I'm not a big coffee drinker, so I'd maybe been there once or twice in my life) had me try a "Peppermint Twist"---er, I think that's what it was called. It was actually pretty good.

If you have a Starbucks around, try that.

Eh, that stuff does seem kind of boring. I guess it's not my cup of tea.

You know, when you torture yourself with something you hate the taste of until you like it, it really shows how much stuff you have to do to keep you occupied. Geeze, Australia must be boring.

It all depends on the game. Icon Ultima is a very resource heavy world, as a result of that, we have a Cron Job to delete the BYOND cache on the server every six hours (20GB of free space would be used up in a day or two otherwise). Bandwidth wise, my slice nearly uses the entire 200GB of transfer available.

However, even with IU, we were still able to host My Life as a Spy, Chatters and on occasion Solar Conquest at the same time.

A 256 slice, provided you're not running websites like I am, could probably manage several small casual games along side one or two RPGs.

And if you find yourself unable to host what you want, you can also upgrade your slice with only a few hours downtime.

Hey there, Tiberath. I've been trying to contact you regarding Mobius (BYOND RPG submission) via email and I haven't received a response since you asked for details. Was I supposed to make a submission on the BYOND RPG forum?

I'm a bit confused as to what I'm supposed to do next. If you have the time, I'd appreciate a nudge in the right direction. Thanks!

That depends on what you're after. Presently I'm running multiple computers and generally have my pager running on the computer I'm not stationed at.

Feel free to drop me a line at tiberath@tibbius.com or for MSN ambient546@hotmail.com on what you wish to ask me.

No I'm not BYOND Staff, just a volunteer. Matters of account retrieval should be handed directly to BYOND staff via the Support Form. In future, any problems you have should be posted in BYOND Help.

Don't stress too much. I have pesky real world obligations to fulfil as my father wants me to dig up the drive way so he can lay cement. Chipping through gravel and clay with a large and heavy metal pole isn't easy.
