Hello to all my BYOND colleagues, friends, and all respected elders. As the title of the post says, my New Year dream was to get my book book published anyhow by the end of the year i.e. by 31st of December, and it was finally accomplished! I completed typing my book with small editions in the book and chose to publish it as an E-book on Amazon Kindle. It is now live and ready to be purchased.

About the Book

Name: Fight of Elements
Genre: Fiction
Type: Action, Adventure, Love story
Author: Aastikya Tiwari (A2J2TIWARI)
Volume: 1
Cost: $3

The book was transformed into Kindle format hastily more over this was my first book and first time I had made my E-book because of which I wasn't able to get a good quality. And, the language is bit clumsy due to the reason I live in India and English here is not very good at average level but understandable.

Synopsis

Zeus created another boy who posses supernatural powers. Zeus arrives on earth, in a village few miles away from a wealthy city- Delmond. Zeus puts the boy on huge lotus flower and departs.

An old aged person discovers the boy and adopts him. By the time he grows up , Armada discovers him and sends his knights to capture the boy.

This is a story of a boy who lost his father in fight between an evil creature who came to capture the boy. He then travels to the city of Delmond to live the dreams of his father i.e. to be a young strong man who works for peace and mother earth. He arrives the city Delmond well known for its best defense forces in the world. There he meets a girl of his age who works in a restaurant and so the boy - Xan starts working. The girl and boy both fall in love and live days happily when they are attacked by another demon of Armada best knights - 'The Invincible'. The Knight is defeated by the military forces of Delmond which are a high tech group of robots and a group of old men who possess divine powers and are known as Dwibhujs with the combined powers of Bruce - another Tatva - the controller of an element lithosphere. The Dwibhujs ask the two Tatvas ( Xan and Bruce) and the girl to join them as their master wants to talk to them. They enter the hall where the master resides after facing few obstacles. As they enter the second demon's soul takes birth from Xan's body and tries to destroy the master and capture the two Tatvas. The demon's soul is destroyed by the master. But, because of the soul of the demon, Armada's best knights get the location where the Tatvas were and they transmit themselves there. By the time they arrive the master tells the three about the history and motto behind the creation of Tatvas. He also tells them about the other existing Tatvas.

What was the reason of Armada to send his knight to capture the boy, why Zeus created the boy? Who were other Tatvas and why was Armada after Tatvas? Discover the answers in this book.

Good luck man.
Congraulations!
Congratulations. You seriously need to consider improving your writing, though. Maybe take a few lessons or two- they could benefit you- or by looking at written samples by other authors, or even books.
Thanks Cubanbling and Higoten. I wanted to have critiques or at least good comments about the book and some reviews but I got none till now, hehe.

No worries...

Yeah, I am reading books of famous authors, mostly of Paulo Coelho, a great inspiring author to improve myself as a good author with pious thoughts as well as developing my grammar and other skills. This is my first book and so I think it could be considered, though I tried hard to improve it.

How long is the story, wordcount wise?

Anyways, good luck with selling it!
Around 10 thousand word count and 62 pages according to MS Word. And, thanks for wishes all of you, I really need them.
Looks great I'm probably going buy it
Congrats Man. And I honestly don't know why someone would Nay this post.
I would consider purchasing it to help you out, but I've got a Nook so it would need to be in the Barnes & Noble store. I only read the start of the synopsis but do like the setting(future greek mythology?). Don't just look at famous authors, look for books that do well with English speaking young adults. It will help your grammar and help you write more compellingly(as in the synopsis didn't pull me in to want to read more immediately). Good luck!
Is that picture yours? If it isn't, that's illegal.
I would recommend changing the tag "Love story" to "Romance."

I tried to do best at my level. My English is not so good because in our school no one teaches nicely and so I started to read good novels to improve my vocabulary and writing style. Well, I feel a bit ashamed that even at the age of fifteen, my language. Well I ensure if I release the next part of this book it will surely be interesting and inspiring.

The picture isn't mine but of 'artozi' from deviantart, and he had permitted me to use it free of cost.

Thanks for suggestion, I'll do it.

Already told that the owner of that picture has permitted me to use it for free. :)

When you are publishing a book you should submit it to multiple platforms such as the Nook as this guy mentioned, good thing you did upload it to the kindle book store that way it will be available on the IPad,IPhone,Windows Phone 7,Android,Blackbery,etc

You should try expanding it onto other E-Readers such as the Nook,Kobp and various others. You did cover a large chunk of the market with adding it to Kindle, but no one reads on their smartphone. The Next step for you is to get it on the Barnes and Noble Nook, It is actually the best selling E-Reader, so I recommend the next step in making your book a success is, publishing it to the Nook book store.

You also stated that your English is so-so if so why didn't you get someone to read over your book and fix grammar mistakes or fix anything that is incorrect. I'm sure you can find tons of people who are willing to do it for free.
How many books have you sold ?

Thanks very much for your suggestion. After you posted I searched Nook and tried to publish but it says I need to be 18 or older and hence I tried SmashWords which published my E-book in all available formats and can now be sold on Apple, Sony, Kindle and other available E-book stores. Here it is.

I tried to contact literary agents for that but no one yet replied, may be they didn't take interest in it. Moreover, I don't know people who could do the editing part for free, they charge instead! And, because of that I couldn't ask someone to help me out.
