Not a big fan of the palette, it seems kind of dull. And the side view looks kind of blocky.
Here's something I made not too long ago to emphasize what I mean by you having dull colors:
Notice the use of yellow as a highlight, instead of just using a brighter pink. I used a palette I found on Pixel Joint to make that sprite, and it came out really nice. I recommend using a pre-made palette, it can really help you with your color selection.
Oh, and as for the sloppy north state you have I can offer one tiny bit of advice: One of the greatest fallacies of pixel art is that creating individual frames is a lot of work and copy+paste is much easier than redrawing things like limbs when animating. It's actually not much work at all to produce many frames as good as your first, fast. It just requires focus.
@EmpirezTeam: I think most of the new/average artists on BYOND would do that.
@Yut Put: I really liked your comment, helped me. I have palette created by Zane, but I dont want to use it. Since I am a artist it'd be shameful to steal someone's palette instead of creating one by myself, dont you think so? It'd be kind of you to help me create a good palette myself.
Yeah I zoomed in and the shading is weird. The light source for the head is coming from the top, the torso's light source is directly in front of it, and the legs and feet light source is coming down on it diagonally.
It is alright to use someone else's palette. It can be very difficult to make your own without experience using a professional one. On top of that, using a professional one can help you develop better instincts when selecting colors to use from your own palettes(Using good a palette forces you to experiment with colors to understand what looks good where)
You also have a lot of anatomical issues, and the character's pose is both unappealing and unrelaxed
