Well hi again. I have written this post to get some answers. I tried searching but couldnt find answers on net.

So, my life has been same for like two years; going to school coming back home, spend timeon byond and then go to sleep. And, because of this my life has become really boring and I want to do something really interesting and adventureous. So,I planned to become an explorer for tv channels like discovery or national geography.

I searched everything on net but couldntfind how can i become an explorers for those channels, how can they recruit me?

Thats why i thought it be better to share this question here. If anyone has any info about it please let me know.

Thanks in advance for help.

You may want to get in shape physically and mentally before doing this ...
First) Get yourself some high-level PhD's in stuff like archeology.

Second) Get in great physical and mental fitness, being good-looking helps a lot for the TV thing, unless you're REALLY good at what you do.

Third) Become semi-famous for something related to your field, they'll be begging you to do a TV show then.

Like drinking your own pee :P
umm bro first you need to finish university then getting a PH.D and do some stuff so that they can recognize u.. same to what Nadrew had said.. also my hotmail acc got hacked and now its blocked :D
Thanks for your responses. I know I need to complete univresity first, but I wanted to know how you can apply to be an explorer. And about the fitness, I am pretty good. I have a good shape, good communication skills, don't look bad.

About being famous, I want to know how to become famous person and let those channels know about you? Do we have to submit our recorded CDs of explorations we did at small scales?
TBH if I were you I would just get a really good camera and start recording stuff and put it on YouTube. It's pretty much the same way Bieber became a millionaire.

1. Buy a camera
2. Upload whatever it is you do to YouTube
3. ???
4. Profit

Then let your YT channel and reputation speak for itself. If you're good, they'll come find you and offer you opportunities. You won't need to hunt them down. Everyone thinks you need a degree to succeed these days but the fact is there are tons of people who are graduating from college and are still unemployed. Don't fall for the hype - avoid college and the debt that comes with it if you don't have scholarships and make a name for yourself via the internet.

Well, Bieber is from Canada and may be the idea worked for him? I live in India and it's probably really difficult to get some reputation and popularity through You Tube in this country. Thanks for your idea, I think I'll try going to some places of the city where I live and record some stuff.

Also, graduation is must. National Geographic and Discovery has some facilities only for people over 18 and graduate. Idk but I think I read it somewhere on their website.

Anyways, I just wanted to let you guys know what type of explorer I want to become.

I want to do something like Dhani Jones did in Dhani Tackles the Glode

I want to explore world in a different way. I want to play games, study about the cultures, myths, philosophies about the world. Moreover I want money!

This is my today's pic when I went for the movie. I am the guy in the middle with my brothers by my side.

I hope you guys won't consider me as ugly, :)
You guys remind me of that Slumdog Millionaire movie.
That movie was [bad], I don't even want to take it's name...
It gave India a stamp of 'Worst place in the world' and it's quite near to impossible to remove it.
