What game or community has your favorite mods / admins?

What was the funniest interaction you've had with an admin or mod?

As much as people whine about BYOND's mods, I have to say I like them. Mostly because I get fun educational material like quotes from Shakespeare.

That, and I have a conversation with a Blizzard mod in which we discussed the awesomeness of turtles.

Regular turtles, or the teenage mutant ninja variety?

Funny you mention. While that DID come up, the scope of the conversation covered all turtles.

Noted. When warning people about breaking rules or going off topic in threads, I shall quoth the raven, "Nevermore."

I think the BYOND mods do their job well, but I would not say they are my favorite. Mainly because I've basically have yet to communicate with them frequently or even create a relationship to show them that I'm not some random idiot.

My favorite mods/admins were probably in a Counter-Strike mod called JailBreak. I quickly became friends with them, learned a little about creating CS Mods, and eventually was allowed to help moderate the game.
I've never had a gripe with the BYOND mods - they do their job and interact with people like normal people as opposed to being seen as moderators - I like that.

I'd figure that is mainly because they are just that, normal people ;)

Most administrators I see (even on MMOs and such) get special treatments and stuff, I don't really like that.

For the short time I moderated a game I was hosting for a friend, I didn't like being treated like that.
