Another corner of the net.

Well it will be funny to see how this plays out. Without bashing anyone or throwing around a bunch of details in short someone has done a review then was banned from said game for breaking rules then said person attempts to remove the review because of personal reasons not because the review was incorrect.

So with that being said we will see how BYOND deals with the whole thing and see what happens. I do not plan on bashing anyone for what they do just saying how it will be fun to watch how it really plays out.

On another side note the last server crash PRPR had was a really nasty one for anyone that did not hear and do care. A large number of files were damaged in the shutdown it would seem so we are still in the works of recovering from that and with any luck we will be back up and running at full power shortly.

Im not really sure WHAT happened but from the best that I can pertain at this time is after I closed the world I turned off the server before the world could finish compiling everything back to normal thus creating a massive gap in the files and damaging a number of them.

I need not go into all the details of what was lost and damaged but needless to say it has been a pain in the butt to repair it all. On another side note the server is running smooth once again after the CPU issue was fixed.

Another few updates on PRPR the forums have been fixed of the few security holes we had that were allowing people inject scripts into our forums. This in itself is a huge weight off my back just because of the fact I was pulling up backups every other freaking week because of it.

Im working on a new website for PRPR itself however with that being said its still in closed testing. The update with any luck isnt to far around the corner I myself can't really say it for sure but I think if Sirus puts his mind to it the update will be closer then everyone things but again this all up to Sirus.. No stress right?

Only time will tell where the game will go but I will keep on hosting and with any luck we will pull out of this.

Ok on the note of my post before this one. I said the staff was lazy and went at it rather hard. An got points of view from many people and lots of people adding there own comments.

So let me go and define this a bit more im not going all out saying the staff does nothing however the point I was making is that stuff like this could be avoided rather easy with a few extra hands. I myself would work for free to help mod byond if offered. However there are no attempts to even do that now I can understand them being busy but there are people that have been on byond from as far back as when it started that still help out today...

They could just as easy put someone like that in charge of staffing a group that mods the site for free. An you cant sit here and tell me its not done almost every last game on byond has atleast one other Admin that didnt even help make the game and works for free. I can name a few million forums that have mods that work for free so why cant byond attempt something like that.

It is true that they have better things to do with there time but this no hands on for a service people pay for really doesnt go down to well... BYOND has a lot of retards that dont pay for the service but dont have any trouble running around abusing the service people DO pay for an what makes it worse is they dont even get a slap on the hand.

Now I could understand if there was some kind of system to give them a slap on the hand but as it stands you only get banned from a hub that someone else pays for that you dont really even plan on coming back to. That is like running around a gay forum calling everyone fags an then crying the next day because you were banned from a forum you use all the time... Like hello who in there right mind would run into some place act like a retard so they get banned from it only because they plan on coming back....

Something needs to be done so that people that abuse the system other people pay for get into some sort of trouble. Maybe a report system where it checks for words repeating more then three times or lots of cursing and if you report it they auto get banned from the byond website for 24 hours or something!

As it stands this retard that spammed my hub gets away with it an just doesnt get to come back woooh so scary. I wish real life worked that way I could go rob a bank for a few billion and then not get into any trouble and just be totally banned from going inside that bank woooh.. I think I can sleep with that.

Give me a break and all you people that are running around yelling thats not right just use the options they gave you to delete it an be done with it. I could do that but its not the point the guy still gets off free without even a slap on the hand all he gets is a ban from a hub he didnt even plan on coming back to like wtf is that.

Sometimes I am left wondering what runs through peoples minds... Honestly I didnt even want to make a post on my hub because I didnt want to start some huge issue with people that I know are putting a lot of work into the website and program so that we can keep on having fun on our games BUT!

There comes a point where you got to put down a foot. BYOND cant watch everything this is true and I can't blame them but they could try taking steps to cover as much ground as possible. BYOND has always been about its community however what do you do when all the retards flood the community and drive the good people away... One would thing you ban the retards but most of the people dont even get a slap on the hand on byond.. It is rather rare to even see it happen.

The help section of the website from what im understanding at this point is run by the community but if thats the case why not have some of the community be put on the staff to help mod the community rather then keeping it limited. It be easy to hire a few hands I mean hell most games on byond do it you dont see anyone on byond being paid to help staff and mod a game... They do it for free not because they need to but because they want to.

Now many of you reading this might be wondering what the hell im talking about... I dont know how many of you would act but if it was me spamming I could care less if I was banned from a hub if I really cared about going to the hub I wouldnt have spammed it to start with how is being banned from something you dont even plan on coming back to a slap on the hand...

It isnt an from what iv seen people that get reported only get reported because of a racist comment other then that all other comments go ignored even if the persons spamming up hubs with cursing or other stupid crap.. How is it people can go on a hub leave a page long post of nothing but the word FUCK YOU and get off free like it never happened but the one person that leaves a comment thats racist such as I dunno "I dont like jewish people" gets banned from the website for a few days because hes racist against jewish people what the hell is wrong with that... I dunno EVERYTHING...?

It really makes me mad when you host a game an give everyone a list of rules to follow in attempts to make your life easy. An they totally ignore you thinking they have some ungodly right to play the game your hosting. I mean clearly they are ignoring you an the rules an your so busy you dont have the time to be on the game every second of your life yet people think you should be. I was hosting PRPR then I got busy with other things so I went on an worked on getting it done checked in on PRPR every few ten or so minutes an every time I come back id have atleast a list of ten people breaking the rules that I just clearly yelled into there ears ten minutes ago!

I makes me mad that I need to shut down the game just because some idiots have a mental deficiency to anything doing with the rules but I dont have time to GM an people are crying that im not doing my job. Its sad when you think about it but not much I can do about it with the lack of GM's PRPR has now a days I can't just call in staff. An I havent seen to many people that would really be a good GM. So here we sit with no staff on other then myself. I was hoping things might turn out ok but shortly after going afk it was clear how well that was going to work out.

So yah I guess thats the end of my rant... Seeing as I have clearly said everything that needs to be said other then the fact that most people are freaking retards. Half of the idiots that are sitting there being stupid wouldnt go out an break the law so why in the world do they sit there an break the rules just because its a game. Rules are made for a reason not just because people think its something thats fun to wave in peoples faces its ment to keep order. GAH!

I guess I just feel like posting don't really have a topic in mind. I happen to see that rarescar is for the most part leaving the internet. I mean its possible it wont happen but it's to early to say for sure. It seems my week is just getting worse hope I get to the end of this week soon. It's times like this you want to sleep the week away but then remember you have people that will wake you up. Arg curse the evil people! I also see byond updated the members page by adding some little bar to the top of the page.

When they had just released the update the bar was all messed up on my ie but worked fine on firefox but it seems to be fixed now thats good. Another thing I happen to notice last time I posted my message never hit the front page of the byond members home. I wonder if it was a bug or if they have a new system that they select what blogs show up on that or maybe its views based. Who knows....

Let's see what else is knew lost my cell an just got the replacement yesterday. That sucked lost all my numbers an what not so I wasnt to happy about that but I did take the chance to upgrade the phone to a newer model. I guess that counts for something? Anyway is it me or has there be a huge popup of Pokemon games on byond an most of them use PRPR's ideas.

I find it annoying how people steal one anothers ideas now a days there isnt a thing on byond that hasnt been stolen at some point or another. I guess thats what you get when you are in a free type community I guess it makes the job simple for them. Meh though im sure many of them would get mad if someone stole something from a game they made. So it just kind of rolls down hill.

I could go on for hours about how its bad to steal but everyones heard it before so meh its pointless to repeat something thats been said like a half a million times. Also changing topics again im sure some of the people that were not in game at the time are wondering why the game is down.

Well to be honest I just don't feel like hosting it at this moment in time I will no doubt start hosting it maybe in one to two days from now. It won't be down long im sure many of you will have nothing to do but thats how life is at times. Let's talk about the new Link Park cd that just came out like four or five weeks ago aka Minutes to Midnight.

A few people I have sent it to have said they don't really care for it personally I like it so meh. LP said they wanted to step away from the normal type music they make aka like rock/rap type music an try something a bit new for the cd. An if you ask me it worked I think its a great cd I think its better then the ones they released before it anyway.

The other ones were just meh dull they seemed like they were trying to hard to sell another huge hit rather then make a good song. Anyway if you got the cd let me know what you think an feel free to give your point of views on it. Let's see not really much else to talk about so I guess ill just wrap it up an post unless I can think of something else to talk about in the next few minutes.
