Use this thread for unit suggestions.

Note that at this moment, all pre-Great War (WW1) period units are used by all regions.

At Great War (WW1) period onwards, units are currently split into Europe and Americas regions in the Mech (Tanks, Androids) and Aircraft (Fighters, Bombers, Helicopters) categories.

Future regions include: Asia (including Russian units) and African (including Middle East units). Ships and Artillery will also be split up.

Earlier eras may also be split up in future.

Here are some suggestions I have recorded over the years:

Biological and Chemical Weapons (Planned)
Extra units for Religions (Planned)
Extra sea types: Cruisers and Submarines most likely to appear next

Techgamer:Nation Unique Units: Units that a player can create based off of previous units.

I was thinking that Acebloke should add more medieval units :P

Catapults
Balistas
Crossbow units
Kamikaze Plane (Japanese unit)
Car bombs(?)

[ Acebloke(Nightmare Team:Leader): who knows, might even do a early era only game sometime ;p ]

That sounds very nice if medieval units are going to be added :D

PD: I might edit this post if I have more ideas.

Funny enough I was thinking of adding them to reduce fuel costs as well as providing def. Infantry Fighting Vehicles would be the upgrade which has some att.

Also, soldiers wouldn't die when using them...so I don't know what affect that would have =P

Due to the new unit system I will be de-sticking this thread, but many, if not all of the suggestions here will likely get implemented at some point. You can continue to point ones out you'll like to see, and please let me know if you think I've missed any out.
