Every now and again I try to beat my previous record of no-blog-posts.

As I've stated before a few times now, updates tend to take awhile, mainly due to me not having the time or drive. I've also said that when I do work on updates, its often on Dreamland, rather than other things like Wargames and Survive this (ugh, I do it a lot don't I? :p).

I can't really help this, Wargames has been my baby for 5 years now and revitalising it by recoding the whole thing is my way of saying "yeah, I still want you around, but I'm going to take my sweet time about it".

Dreamland it is then. I expect another update soon. Things I've already got done is multiple star systems, currently generation only allows up to 2 stars until I can find some useful data on the likely hood of 3+ stars (if you can find some, let me know).

Planet maps (of which you should be able to see a few next update) now has day and night, as well as a very crappy cloud system which needs further work.

I've also gone to the trouble of redesigning graphics for planets, ultimately designed on our own system in the hopes of making it look nicer and giving wider variance, particularly for size too. I'm upgrading the range of sizes from 4 to 15 (although 4 of these are designated for exoplanets larger than Jupiter). Each of our planets now have its own graphics, meaning no more Jupiter-Saturn and Uranus-Neptune sharing :p This also gives greater variance for developing your own systems.

Finally, I've been gradually updating the Universe model, the SWEEPS data (which you could find no.10 for if you searched in the last version) is complete, adding another 15 systems and 15 planets for that alone. I will try to aim for some more specifics like that, but my main aim will always be going from us outwards.

While it won't be playable, I should also be releasing some screenshots of some of the early life stages, essentially what I had worked up to before - perhaps even a bit further (finally!) too.
