I finally discovered a way to work on BYOND stuff at work. The main reason I couldn't before is because my PC monitor faces the cubicle door, allowing anyone walking by to see what's on it. All of my real work is done on the SGI, whose monitor faces the rear of the cubicle. The company runs a couple of Windows Terminal Servers for the very few people who don't have their own PCs. It just occurred to me yesterday that I could install a copy of BYOND on a network drive somewhere, login to the Windows Terminal Server through the SGI (thanks to this client), and work on BYOND stuff there. Works great, except for the fact that the client is limited to 256 colors. Ack! I never realized things looked so crappy in this mode - I sincerely hope that nobody else is stuck in the dark ages of color like this!

Hopefully I'll be able to increase my production somewhat now...

I'm not very old I'm only 14 and there are 13 year olds (Geo) and I think some 10 year olds around here somewhere.

I've been here since I was 11 actually, it wasnt until I was 12 that I actually made games and posted messages. Actually I've been using a computer ever since I lived in texas when I was 6 or 7, which it had been custom built. Well here the computer is, just with more stuff added, a voodoo 3 card, over 4 gigabytes of memory, ect.

The BYOND population is overwhelmed by young pre-adolescents and adolescents. In other words, teenagers and younger.

The most experienced BYOND coders, however, are adult or in their mid-to-late teens. There are only about ten or twenty adults around here that I know of.

(I'm not an adult either, matter-of-factly. I'm 17 -- turned under a month ago.)

Im 13, turning 14 in a few months(31st of March)

Started online games, and programming when I was 11. Accidentally stumbled upon MUDs because I was bored after school and decided to do a search for online games.

One thing led to another, and here I am

I've been around computers since I was 9. Back then my uncle told me CGA (4 color graphics adaptor for you young whippersnappers) was a passing fad. He had a CGA emulator for his Hercules monochrome system and I have to admit, it did look better than CGA :P
