Some Base Work in Art & Sound

So, I have been working by myself lately.. just on the side.. Making an Avatar game.
I got inspired by watching the Avatar movie and remembering how I loved Avatar as a kid. Like always, I'm using my cartoonish style on 32x64 base. Shading is.... well I used 3 colors.. not counting White or Black. Cartoonish as in.. simple colors, simple black outline, simple shade, simple contrast(might change a bit), and minimal muscle(Not "OMGWTFBQQ!" pecks and shoulders)

The Left if Male and the Right is Female. (Female looks alittle funny.. I am trying to make it look more female and less muscular. She looks alittle fat.. I think I should skinny up her legs. She has boobs :P)



Looking at it... I think I lost some of its 3/4ths look.... Hmmm..

Uh hai akto xD, although im still a noobie pixel artist i tried to do a edit for you to show you i liked them but they didnt look quite right so i edited them. Then again mine are crappier but here they are xD

First thing I have to say is... you gave her jugs! I thought I was the perverted one....

I do like the skinny limbs though. The waist and "upper chest" of the female look alot better on your edit. Like I said.. I'm not to big on the muscles(abs) because I feel like it takes away from the cartoonish feel but I will try to add them in but keep the cartoon style.(Mine will probably change...)

Noob or not I like your work and I believe your a great pixel artist.

New Edit:

-Made the Limbs skinnier
-Lessened the shading on the head
-Gave the Male a defined Brow
-Male has pecks and Female has "upper chest"

Still messing with the contrast.. I don't want it to look to Orange

Yea, im alittle pervy lol thanks i didnt know if i did that great of a job or not here ill post another edit with a new pallette in a few with some clothes or underwear garments if you'd like xD.

Male - Pants | Female - Underwear&Bra


Male - Tan Shorts&Brown Tank Top | Female - Low-cut pink T/Blue jeans

The breasts shouldn't be that large, and look so deformed. Look at some porn and shape them as seen. Light the outline on them as well. Also, the neck is missing...

That was a really dumb comment, cause if that's the case... then her breasts are questionably formed and shaded.

I studied up on my "upper chest" area.


-Changed my colors
-Changed the feet and legs
-Made the "upper chest" on the female base smaller and higher up
-Also gave them necks

I'd say fix the guys chest, so he doesn't look like he has man-boobs and remove some of the cleavage for the woman. And it'll be awesome.

Alright I had to take a stab at this.



Some things to note.
Woman have bigger hips then men and there legs are more close together. So I gave it an hourglass figure. The face on yours really didn't look feminine, so I made it more round, moved the eyes down, and gave it a mouth. Now the boobs on yours had to much cleavage really making it look saggy xD, So I fixed the shading on that and gave it nipples.

I will eventually edit the male base just seems like the female base needed more attention, Hope this helps.
