L.I.M.B.O. is a side-scroller game that combines a variety of influences together. It is a fighting game that offers a competitive side as well as a fun and free side. Players can choose from a list of classes to fight against others in all out brawls. Future updates may bring new modes and challenges into the game. Continue to look forward to updates as they become available.

Recently, it has been announced that the game is going in for a remake.

**Suggestions on things can be posted in the correct forum to be looked over by Kazuki.

Features

[*]L.I.M.B.O. is not like the downloadable/purchasable game that people think of when seeing the art style. It is based on the fictional place, Limbo. This game offers challenges dealing with a variety of video game classes, and no puzzling challenges to try and work out. Instead, the only challenge is getting the most kills from other players and being the best in the modes.

[*]Classes are to be balanced. They are all subject to improvements and changes. We will try to make and code in a new class every week, but sometimes it may be bi-weekly. You may check here, or the future forum, for the updates and news on the classes.

[*]In timed matches, players have thirty seconds in the lobby. This is for players to talk, decide on a class, and get ready with players. While in game, you will have five minutes to go around the map and fight against everyone. Each class offers a basic punch (Q), range (W), and a pick-up (E) option. They also come with three skills (1,2,3 keys).

[*] L.I.M.B.O. does not have a health bar, but has six hearts. Most classes have skills deal damage equal to one heart, while some offer some with two hearts of damage, and some to boost attack power. It also offers some classes with energy or supplies or other means of limitations to really balance and challenge players.

[*] Currently, there is a timed match free-for-all mode, which is the thirty seconds lobby and five minutes of game play. As an Admin-only feature, we have an Endless Mode in where you can go as much as you want through the map killing. No time.

Woah, this looks pretty awesome!
I'm really loving the art style, too!
Thank you, Kumorii!
Why did you name it Limbo? Don't you think people might get this Limbo and the very popular LIMBO confused? Even the art styles are somewhat similar. http://limbogame.org/
Yes we figured that would happen. Limbo is a made up of plane of space, that is where this takes place. That is why the games are similar. The popular game is called LIMBO while this game is called Lost In My Boundless Ocean... aka L.I.M.B.O. We are aware of the possible confusion, but they are very different games.

It amazes me that you would still go with something so similar when you knew there could be confusion. Ya, they're both different games, but that doesn't mean that people won't get confused by the games with the exact same names(Basically). I mean dev's don't go "OK lets make a game taking place in the same as this other game and go around calling it basically the same thing!"
The only similarity between the games is the setting.

Information on what the setting is: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Limbo

If the shortened version of the game's name causes to much confusion then simply call it by its actual name; Lost In My Boundless Ocean. Many games are made in the same setting. How many games do you know that take place on earth? or how many stories do you know about the afterlife? These aren't original ideas but they can be adapted to another view point.

This game is about YOU (the player) being trapped in LIMBO with nothing to do but wait. This isn't a happy place, you are trapped between life and death. There is no color, no emotion, no music. The only thing you can do to pass the time is to kill others that cannot die as well.

If you didn't know there are quite a few games that have the same title and setting. The popular games Call of Duty are made by more than one company.

I wasn't complaining about the settings being the same. I was complaining about the name. What gives you the right to basically go around calling your game Limbo? I mean you don't go around calling your game "Lost in my boundless ocean" you seem to be going around calling it Limbo which is the name of another game. Just because your game play is different doesn't mean you can call your game basically the same thing.

The CoD games have the same name even though there made by different companies is because both the companies have bought the right to make games for the series. Now please tell me what games have the same title that aren't made by people who own the rights to the same IP?
Listen, we use L.I.M.B.O. not LIMBO. The one we use is a shorten version, an acronym.

If you have any complaints or anything, you can take it up somewhere else or don't play the game. We didn't make the game for people to complain about the name, we made it for people to have fun. While the acronym and other game's name are similar, you can clearly see the periods for our banners. If not, we can simply make new ones.

Do not come here making problems. :/
Different games with the same name:
Portal(1986) - Portal(2007)
Crack Down(1989) - Crackdown(2007)
Proto Type(1989) - Prototype(2009)
Whether or not the titles were bought or not doesn't change the games name or appeal to the public.

Once again this isn't called Limbo.. it is called Lost In My Boundless Ocean or L.I.M.B.O for short. I use the shortened version because saying Lost In My Boundless Ocean is a long title and gets tiring to repeat.

Notice how long those games were made apart? That's because the copyright for something doesn't last forever. No one is going to confuse games that are 20 years apart anyway?

Why would you call your game Lost in my boundless ocean if you aren't going to go around calling it that?

I mean you clearly knew people might confuse your game with the highly known game for PC and consoles, but you still go around calling it Limbo. You guys even say that the name is to long and tiring to repeat. Don't you guys see some signs pointing out that the title for your game is bad?

Your point being? We aren't some million dollar game company. We made a game for players to enjoy and pass the time.

I don't see anything wrong with the title at all. Lost In My Boundless Ocean is a perfect name for the game. Yes it is a little long but that doesn't mean it doesn't work. If you didn't know BYOND is an acronym for Build Your Own Net Dream. You don't hear people going around saying that. As for the "Have an idea for a class that you could see fighting in Limbo? " once again... Limbo is a place where the game takes place.

The only people that would get the games confused are people that glance at only the shortened title. If you look at the banners or even the screenshot, a person can tell it is not the same game. If those pictures do not help they can read more about it on the front page. Which clearly describes that it is not the same once again. There is still more... now if you are still confused if you look at the title on the HUB, right below it, it says Lost In My Boundless Ocean. At this point if a person still thinks they might be the same game, they can join the game and find out that in fact they are not even close.

This discussion is over with and is a waste of time. If you have a problem with the title I am sorry but it is not going to change.
Um, I hate to break it to you Akto, but Joshed is right - there IS a problem with L.I.M.B.O

You forgot the period after the "O". :D
You are right... Fixed :D
It's still missing.

I am disappoint.
Pfftt.. I must not have hit the save button.
When is the game coming up?
The update comes out tomorrow and I will be hosting it more then... :D
Thannnka youuuuu. you know there's a game called happy wheels and they have a popular map based off your game?
