<strike>Recently got the urge to start designing a Death Run game for BYOND. Problem is I can't seem to find a good programmer who isn't busy with another project to partner up with. You can read up on the game details and concept art here.

If you're genuinely interested, have some free time to kill, and are confident you can pull something like this off within a couple months or so, drop a comment. It's a small project, and the aim is to have fun with it, but I AM looking for some dedication. Links to previous work are a plus.</strike>

Partner found, thanks guys.
Here's a basic template for anyone out there who needs to make trophies for their games. Just change the background color to your liking, slip in a small image, save, and go.

File types for:

Photoshop [DOWNLOAD TEMPLATE]

I realize this topic has been gone over plenty of times. Increasing the image edit size limit (or removing it), layers, adjustable grids, even something as basic as a lasso, etc. What I'm wondering is after all this time and discussion, is anything actually in the works there? Even if you create/edit outside of BYOND's editor, It's a rather large annoyance for those who are getting ambitious and trying to take advantage of multiple tile images when you always have to go back and save each frame in individual files and import back into BYOND to make changes. It seems like this is something BYOND should be able to handle itself, especially for those more familiar with working in the editor instead of a separate program.

So is there any kind of update in sight?

Appologies if this doesn't belong in this section (Edit: and it was), since it's only concepts right now. Lots of reading ahead (Don't worry, this book has pictures):

http://rentasoldier.blogspot.com/

A little side project I've slowly been building up over time. I've been putting together ideas and laying down concept art on this site over the past few weeks, getting input here and there, and I think I'm all set to make it a little more public and maybe get some fresh ideas.

I'm not a programmer, so this isn't exactly going in to heavy development any time soon. As of now I'm not really pushing to get this in production, just getting ideas, the look and feel, and some of the in-game basics (environments, base, etc) down. Also interested in hearin' if this is something you guys would like to see out on BYOND and maybe where it can improve.

EXTREMELY useful site.

POSE MANIACS

They offer 3D models you can look at through your browser in all kinds of poses and perspectives, so you can get a better idea of how human form works. On top of that, you get to see them down to the muscles, allowing you to get the shapes and lines just right.

They also offer a Negative Space view, Hand modeler, Perspective editor, and if you're interested, a 30 second drawing application. If you need a static human reference, this is the site to go to.
