For those who do read Ctrl+Alt+Del, you might want to read the newest comic.

Thoughts?
Did he just kill off the baby?

Yes, yes he did.
"Absath: Yeah, well, I'm not too fond of you. Read my news post!"

Good times.

It's a metaphor about how ctrl alt del is basically one big giant aborted foetus.
It wasn't even an abortion, it was a miscarriage.
My god. It's like a fucking sitcom. In what wacky way are they going to get divorced?

actually, if when you put it that way, it is kinda funny.
I'm wondering how much strain it must have put poor Tim through to actually draw an expression on one of his characters.
The idea that some people appear to be turning away from it just because it's plot instead of a joke strip is what sickens me.

Granted, I don't care for joke strips in the first place. I like stories. I don't know if I'll start reading Ctrl-Alt-Del with any regularity, but the related news post stating that there is an actual plot outline makes me more interested than I have been before.

It's more of the fact that it's supposed to be a funny comic, and for the next god knows how many issues it'll be about drama.
CAD is not funny, never has been funny, and never will be funny. The art is wholly uninspired (he literally copies facial expressions from a palette) and the writing drones on and on and on without being funny.

Aside from the whole art thing (if it be true), everything you said was merely subjective.

No, not really. Buckley ruins most of the jokes he tries to make by over-explaining them with great big walls of text.
