One more thing about Vista Vs 7
Okay I know that vista preloads stuff into the memory, and the usuage has gotten better since i installed service pack 2 in it, but this is still funny.

And this I found amusing too.
Why is that amusing? When I hit "resolve online now" it tells me that i'm not running a microsoft operating system.

Windows 7 RTM(Retail Version)
Well, I finished downloading and "upgraded" from the RC. Differences? It runs
a little faster and uses
a little more ram(Like, less than 100 MB with my usual programs running, went from 698 - 777 MB). Hell of a lot more stable, and a
hell of a lot harder to activate.
The place i downloaded it from never gave me the product key and I got stuck.
Luckily, I had been torrenting an X64 version of Windows 7 and it had a toolkit. I used the toolkit and it worked, but Windows put up a fight, when I first logged on, there was a new program runnning called sppsvc.eve, which was some kind of windows protection service.
A few minutes later, a "This copy of Windows Might not be genuine!" and I was thinking "Oh crap..." I hit ignore and next thing you know I got an email with the following subject "Activate today.", I check my email and luckily it's spam and The only thing I won't be able to do is download stuff from microsoft that requires Windows to be vaildated, but who would want to do that anyway?

ROAR Windows Vista...ROAR
I bought a laptop back in June for college, it's got some ok specs(Processor could be upgraded..the upgrade is mega cheap too :D) but it has one huge problem with it, one that I don't like, one that makes me go ROAR...Windows Vista.
Now I understand why the laptop has 4 GB of RAM...Idiling, Vista uses 1.59 GB of it..that's CRAZY. Meanwhile i'm sitting here using my almost 6 year old desktop with 2 GB of ram and Windows 7 is using...589 MB of RAM.(This also includes the programs i'm running.) [Vista] Takes so damn long to load up and shutdown, even 7 on my desktop beats it in both of those areas.
The only good thing I really have to say about vista is DAMN does it run quick on that laptop. Most Windows pop up instantly, along with 90% of the programs on it. Then again, I am comparing it to a P4 2.0 GHZ with MAYBE 133 MHZ FSB while the Laptop has a Core 2 Duo 2.0 Ghz 800 MHZ FSB(The upgrade is 2.4 GHZ with 1333 Ghz FSB).

Some Management to the blog(and renewing BYOND Membership)
Well, i've [sort of] cleaned up the CSS for my blog, it's still somewhat crappy, but there's not much I can do since I know little to nothing in CSS and i'm not bothered to learn right now.
I'll be 18 on the sixth of Setember, so I think for a birthday present i'll buy a BYOND Membership for someone(and probably myself) and continue to support BYOND. :)
Also, Here's a picture of me(Wearing Sunglasses in my room...I was bored okay? and it was 100 + dergees in my room...)
