BYOND Anime

Any game found to contain content from any other game listed on the front page will be de-listed without warning. Game submissions that violate this rule will be rejected without explanation.

If you want your game to be accepted into the guild or simply to not get removed in the coming weeks then your game must meet the following criteria for the anime guild.

1. Rips are only tolerated if the source code was released because of the owner's own negligence, stolen graphics due to print screens or other malicious and intentional acts of theft are no longer being tolerated. If an Owner is responsible he deserves protection. Your ability to take action against a thief depends on the reputation of your own game however, a rip will have a very hard time taking action against another rip who steals their icons. (This means that WOTS,Jinketsu,Zeta and BSOC rips are technically allowed)

2. Games that are rips but are accepted due to the negligence rule mentioned above are only to be accepted if noticeable amounts of changes are made. Sources that simply have the GMs switched around are not going to be accepted into the guild so please don't even try to apply until the game has some distinguishable features.

3. Games that are not done and not publicly available are NOT to be listed in the anime guild. There is no way for us to possibly evaluate a game that is never hosted so please don't bog down the submission system with hub entries and no live game.

4. No game that makes use of copyrighted material, as in being based off of a manga, anime, or videogame can make money in return for in game features. This means also that games that make use of any graphics that they did not make, including the use of any graphics created by somebody else without permission. To clarify, there is nothing wrong with promoting people to donate to you personally, to pay for server fees or what have you, however in no way can donating to you personally result in benefits or special treatment in any game based on copyrighted material.

There is a hidden forum for Game Judges to decide on the fate of games, these decisions are to be made in that controlled environment and are not up for debate, when you make a post on the forum accusing a game of infringing a criteria make it very simplistic with simply the games name and an explanation of what its done wrong. This post will then be moved to the invisible forum away from the public eye. All submissions will take longer to approve because there is an actual process for this now.
