Implementing this feature is not possible now or in the foreseeable future
Deleted the original request due to incorrect testing. However, I'm reissuing a request for mouse opacity support for image objects (though you can tweak the variable). That way, whatever object they're attached to can receive the atomic object's icon-x and icon-y params instead of the icon-x and icon-y params provided by the image objects themselves.

Of course it is possible for any performance impact due to this request. Feel free to decide on this.

Edit: If the image object should possess the mouse_opacity of 0 and is over any other object, can be made to return nothing or work like other objects in that regard.
The icon-x and icon-y parameters are returned based on the image object's visual appearance, and not the root object's, because the root object may not be the dominant image in the client's view.
Ter13 resolved issue (Not Feasible)
Well, the good thing is, I have found a workaround close to the same time I made this request originally. It involves creating a full-sized transparent image object around an object and placing it on a very high layer to give it priority.
